Headhunter (and his Addison Groove alias) always deliver something to look out for! Nice mixture between juke and detroit that go deep and intens. Lost Prophet’ surges forth on a rock solid four-to-the-floor propulsion, offset by snappy top end percussion before being swathed in haunting pads and dubby FX. ‘Chasing Dragons’ chimes in on an instantly upbeat tip, pummelling a soca rhythm against an undulating melody. Deep without being downbeat and immaculately crafted, IDLE004 adds ever more breadth to the legacies of Headhunter, Idle Hands and ultimately Bristol music. Recommended!!
