Lamborghini Funk is the standout track for me here, but that’s not to say that “Xabregas” and “Cascade” are mere “fillers”. All 3 of the tracks on this second release feel like they inject something new into my musical taste – which is always a pleasure, learning something new.

L Funk pushes the jeeped up sounds and Xabregas strips it back a little, with a steady build up on the drum repeat. There’s a certain sound infused in this Photonz release and with the likes of Trevor Jackson, James Holden, Ewan Pearson and Jackmaster all praising their work, we’d certainly recommend you keep an eye on them and One Eyed Jacks in the near future.
