Edgar Winter

Limited reissue of this ultra-rare Loft classic from 1979. Though Edgar Winter was an artist more known for his jazz, blues and rock work, a collaboration with New York’s disco uber-producer Tom Moulton produced this stunning result. As well as being championed by David Mancuso at his legendary Loft parties this was picked up by Italy’s Cosmic scene and for good reason - the instrumental particularly is a disco masterclass with rough chunky basslines, super-funky timbales, wicked choppy guitar riffs, crazy synthesizers and of course the unforgettable ‘woo’s all in the mix creating pure dancefloor mayhem.
