The double sided EP opens with title track Vanishing Point, a kick driven, subtle-yet-vigorous bass line laden house beat that opens up into a young love-yearning work out thanks to Dusky’s characteristically masterful vocal sample work. Without detracting from the soft chord pads and static synth work, the pitched down vocal yearns with streetwise sensuality, suggesting it’ll soon be attaining the same dance floor filling status that Flo Jam enjoyed one year previous.
