Three years have past since Battista's first solo EP on Warm Sounds. He's now back at it with ''Balance'', a more dancefloor oriented 12'' including four dusty house stormers. Following the label's distinctive sound, Battista here delivers deep saturated kick drums, afro percussions (watch A1 ''Untitled'') and tight vocal lines empowering the sharply jackin' grooves. Heavy artillery here, especially A2 and B1: crunchy and straight forward floor-killers taking no prisoners. The EP closes on a more techno and dirty note.
