Having released a slew of mind altering acid on Batrachian, Exalt, Emotec and Altered Sense, the amount of fire MOY can produce within a 12 month period is singular indeed. The London producer kick starts his own Dynamics of Acid imprint with Initial Singularity EP, a deceptively simple disc of squelching modulators, beefy bass sequencers and hardened grid-lock beats. There’s a light rave feel to the crystalline high end of ‘Orbit Cloud’ and the title track, tempered with the space-minded approach for which MOY has become known. Initial Singularity EP is yet another excellent entry in the prolific artist’s catalogue.
