Upon returning from Detroit a year ago, I had my MPC 2000 XL repaired, which had been stored in a corner since 2017. Once turned back on, I was able to immerse myself in its colors and the sensations it provides when paired with two synthesizers: the Korg Triton and the Yamaha Motif. These new (retro) instruments allowed me to establish a new creative process and a fresh sound. Thus, each day is a blank page that I enjoy filling in following my intuition. All summer, I produced songs, and then selected four to create the EP “Good Love,” which pays homage to all that is good in us – our thoughts, intentions, curiosity, kindness, respect, humility, etc. This is the “Good Love.” The songs are jams recorded with thick grooves tinged with a nostalgic soul touch. There are 300 hand-signed “white label” copies.
