Mad Rey

After a stay in Detroit in 2022, Mad Rey returned to Montreuil, inspired and brimming with energy. He repaired his MPC2000XL and unearthed two vintage synthesizers from the 2000s, a Korg Triton and a Yamaha Motif. Connected together, these three instruments revived sensations and inspired him to create one track per day. After two years of work, the producer felt the desire to bring together the eight instrumental tracks he most enjoyed recording. The recording is raw, delivering a message of peace, humility, and unity. It pays tribute to the early days of house music.
