The Intergalactic Orchestra

This release is certainly one of the biggest mysteries in the history of discomusic. Only few copies were sold until the album was deleted short time after the release date in 1979. The LP has been produced by the team which brought us also the Ultimate Warlord track,consisting of Daniel Boone, Muff Murfin andMark Oxford aka David Byron (ex member of the world famous rock band Uriah Heep). However this record could hardly be compared to something else from space andcosmic disco scene. It is a dark and weired garage disco production, even a bit low-fi but filled over and over with sophisticated arrangements and tons of innovative ideas. Good news: the sound quality of the new 2011 edition is much better compared to the original 70’s release!
