Chris Moss Acid
Bay Of Cadiz
Following releases on Mathematics, Boxfade and Vuzkid, Chris Moss Acid returns with an extraterrestrial four tracker on Holland’s 030303. The A-side features Bay of Cadiz, an eleven minute cut built around an hypnotic bass line and a simple Hitchcockian synth that would do well in a horror movie featuring zombies with smiley faces. On the flip, Lynchette Matravers is an energetic, crystal clear banger reminding of early 808 State. The Big Freeze sounds a lot warmer than the title suggests and should please anyone into AFX’s later output. The Rhythm, the fourth and last track on the EP, continues on that vibe with beautiful synth work. Chris Moss may look like a nutter; this sure is serious sonic pleasure.
