Electronic Emergencies' first release in 2017 is Histoire d'une Ame by Peine Perdue, the acclaimed synthpop/minimal wave duo from Paris and Berlin.
The EP, which is divided into four tableaux, tells a story that was inspired by 80s cult movie Therese, directed by Alain Cavalier, about the mystical suffering of a nun who becomes a saint. Expect nebulous acid wave chansons with mysterious French lyrics.
