Mr. Crux

Mr. Crux a producer from a small town in the South of Wales. He's been making music as Mr Crux for about 6-7 years, mainly inspired by artists like Tycho, Four Tet, Bonobo, Jamie XX as well as a lot of traditional folk music and hip hop.

"This EP was made when I got my hands on a large collection of old house, techno and garage records from the 90's and early 2000's. I sampled a lot of short vocal sounds, percussion, atmospheres and layered them with some live synth sounds. I tried to make something that sounded melodic and emotional but still had a bouncy rhythm at it's heart."

Warm nostalgic house beats grabbing back to the past with beautiful samples and banging drums. Beautiful tracks for summer festivals or late night drives.
